If you find yourself wanting to rock people's faces off, but you're an amateur or professional musician with a day job, family responsibilities, whatever, and can not be committed 100% to music, then this is the group for you. This is a social group where we learn songs and play them in a garage band atmosphere. We also meetup and play at various live venues throughout the DFW area.

We love to play Salsa Music, the music of Hector Lavoe, Ruben Blades, Mark Anthony, Gilberto Santarrosa, Willie Colon, Oscar de Leon, etc. We just do it for fun, however we try to make it sound as great as possible. A salsa band can be relatively big and therefore it can take some time to assemble. All instruments and vocals are welcomed and needed. It would be ideal to have at least two musicians per instrument, in a way that we can back each other up when for any reason someone cannot attend. …

Singer-Songwriters offer genuine music created from their own experiences. From open mic nights with very local talent to contracted writers through Nashville that have some songs you will recognize from the national stage. Let's get out and enjoy this local talent!  Some events will offer a chance to play in front of your peers, other events will offer a chance to hear pro or semi pro talent in an intimate setting.

If you are a guitarist that mainly plays hard rock and heavy metal music but aren't necessarily limited to these genres of music, can be of any age, have guitar playing proficiency of intermediate all the way to pro levels, want to get together and play, learn new material including each others original tunes, like to buy/sell/trade guitars and amps and discuss all related topics and want to get together to play electric guitar then this is the meetup group for you.
