Learning to play guitar is all about two things: Practice, and playing with other people. And The Chicago Guitarists Meet-up can help do that. Let's create a fun, laid back atmosphere where we can hang out, play some songs and learn new techniques, and meet other people with the same interest. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Do you enjoy singing or playing guitar? This is great opportunity for songwriters, guitarists, and singers to get together and share music, perform together and just make friends with like minded people. Here you can share your music and collaborate with others on music if you like. It's rare to be a songwriter, singer, and good guitar player. If that's you great, but for the rest of us, this is a place to find those that work together.

Our group's aim is to play for people at nursing homes, hospitals, community centers - any place where we can brighten the day of people who otherwise would not be able to listen to live music. Everything we do is completely volunteer. We are simply a group of individuals who come together and share our music with a deserving audience.
