Welcome to the Long Beach Acoustic Musicians/Guitarists.  We are a group designed for those in the long beach and north orange county beach areas who want to get together to play guitar and other acoustic instruments in a group setting.  All skill levels are welcome to our weekly jams.

It's difficult to find musicians in the Islamic communities of southern California due to various societal pressures - religious or cultural. This group is intended to help create a space for musicians who promote the beauty of Music in all aspects of life - including religion. Hopefully we can collaborate and deliver these harmonies to the community at large.

Bring your instrument, bring something to share to eat. I propose an evening of celebrating life through music, good food and good conversation. I play the silver flute and the Djemba. Also a thump Harp. This is an evening of improvisation, of listening and blending of sounds.

Do you love to jam with other musicians? This group meets once a month (every second Tuesday of the month at 10pm) at a club in Santa Monica. We have full PA, keyboard and amp. Sound is run by a pro engineer. Just come and plug in and play. If you don't have a pick up on your guitar we can mic both the guitar and your voice.
