Introduction: Hi, I'm Matt. I'm 23 and will be moving to Raleigh on May 15 so I figured I should join this group. I played a lot in highschool, mainly heavy metal, but now my tastes have changed and I feel like a beginner all over again.
Do you play any other instruments?: No, but I think learning how to play the synthesizer would be cool.
Who are your favorite guitarists?: Scott Henderson is by far my favorite (most people haven't heard of him). He is nasty. I also really like Michael Landau, Al DiMeola, Derrek Trucks, Robben Ford, and Dave Mustaine.
How long have you been playing Guitar?: About 3 or 4 years if you don't count the years in college where I spent more time partying and less time playing.
How many guitars do you own?: One (Fender Strat), but ill probably get a Seagull S6 acoustic real soon.
What kind of music do you like (ie Country, Rock, Alternative, Blues, Screamo, etc)?: Jazz Fusion, blues, modern blues, heavy metal, progressive rock, electronic. Pretty much anything that is really aggressive and has a lot of balls.
